What teams might make a surprise push towards a NBA title? Sure you have the favorites or teams that are expected to make a run (East: Orlando, Boston, Miami...West: Los Angeles, Dallas) but other teams could contend for the championship?
My choice would probably be the Milwaukee Bucks. That's weird to say because the Bucks haven't been relevant in the NBA for a few seasons. But, I feel they have all the tools to make a strong push. If Redd is even halfway healthy this season (or the Bucks opt to trade his HUGE expiring for a player or two they can use) it will only strengthen their team that is coming off a 2nd place finish in their division.
I also really liked what they did in the draft/free agency/trades so far this offseason. Adding Corey Maggette, Drew Gooden, resigning John Salmons, and then drafting a solid defensive big in Larry Sanders all have been good transactions (Gooden's contract is a little ugly however). Also, Brandon Jennings will have another year to get even better and Bogut finally proved he's a good Center in the league last season.
